Jeremy Vernier

Jeremy began his training as a young child, and dancing has been an integral part of his life since then. His studies include Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Acrobatics and traditional ethnic dance.  His early years were spent training at Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, where he was a member of the Tap Repertory Ensemble.   After graduating high school he majored in Dance at Marygrove College and also studied at Edge Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, CA.  He has trained under many notable local artists, including Lloyd Storey, Iacob Lascu, Jordeen Ericson, Penny Godboldo and Judith Molina.  He has performed with Dance Detroit, Detroit Tap Repertory, Detroit Symphony Orchestra and in multiple venues across the United States and Canada.  Jeremy knew from his first dance class that teaching others was his calling in life.  At age 14 he began conducting dance classes, eventually opening a school of his own. He has taught hundreds of students throughout Metro Detroit and has won numerous awards for his choreography.
